What to bring to your workshop or class
There is no need to bring bulky studio equipment unless you prefer to use your own.
Full-size easels for working comfortably in the studio.
Compact easels for seated and tabletop work.
Boards and clips for drawing, painting and mixed media.
Masking tape, water pots, paint palettes and aprons.
We keep a wide selection of paintbrushes and palette knives that students are welcome to borrow. They are well used studio tools, so they may not always be in pristine condition.
We have two en plein air easels available to lend. Please request one early, as numbers are limited.
Materials arrangements vary depending on the tutor and course.
Some workshops, including selected beginners' and mixed-media workshops, provide all materials.
Some workshops can provide all materials for a small additional charge.
Please check the details for your chosen workshop before attending, as specialist materials may be required.
Do not worry-we will usually have what you need available at the studio.
